Sombati is a world music band from Fort Worth, Texas. Their passion is bringing music from all over the world to life. They play traditional tunes and original compositions in a variety of genres from across Europe, around the Mediterranean, and the Americas. From traditional Irish and Scottish music, waltzes and ballads from Northern Spain and Appalachia, polkas, tangos and rhumbas, toe-tappers from the Balkans, Greece, Turkey, and Transylvania, and a few unique concoctions of their own, they bring you the world in music. They put on a high energy, family friendly show, and are equally comfortable on large stages or street corners. They pride theirselves on being prompt, professional and organized, while maintaining reasonable sound levels for the venue.
Sombati recently announced that they’ve been selected as a regional performer for the 2023 North Texas Irish Festival. So, here’s another great band along with the dancers, vendors, food, and so much more to see when you come to the festival this coming March 3rd through 5th in Dallas.
