BEHAN
Irish music has always been about family – family by blood and family by friendship. Anyone in North Texas who has heard BEHAN has become an honorary member of their family.
They will be performing at North Texas Irish Festival 2023 on Friday, March 3rd at 9:30PM on the Trinity Stage. If you’re going to be out at the festival on Saturday, March 4th look for them on the Pub Stage at 3:30PM. On Sunday, the 5th, you can catch them on the Shamrock Stage at noon. I hope to see these fine musicians perform and will try to get some pictures and a review to share with you here on this blog as one of my Cianaodh’s Malarkey posts. Maybe I’ll see you there too.
BEHAN includes brothers Barney, Michael, and Joe Behan with brother-in-law Joe Morris and dearly departed lifelong friend Rusty George. Influences include The Clancy Brothers, The Dubliners, and The Irish Rovers.
I hear you can also catch them pretty regularly at The Celt, 100 N. Tennessee Street, McKinney, TX so if you’re in that area and are looking for some live Irish music then go check them out! Apparently, in October, according to their calendar, they will also be in Ireland on a Whiskey Lovers tour. Now, that sounds interesting, am I right?

Whiskey Lovers Tour of Ireland
